Haft Khat: A paragon
In ancient persian culture, they had a way of measuring an individual’s resilience. A shot glass with seven lines. Tapster used to pour wine; first line, second line, the man who could go until seventh line and still stand still was called Haft Khat and assumed stern, resilient.
First doll has seven chasms on the left side of his torso, The side of heart, the soul, the inner abyss; left is always the seat of vulnerability. From these wounds blue light is glowing, pain is not just trauma, it becomes illumination. The wound becomes the garment. There is also signs of sexual growth without any outreach, sealed and sublimated, Denied.
